My Review:

To the Falls was a book that I didn't want to stop reading. It was well written with characters that I really liked. The story line kept me interested from beginning to end.

Kaliah or Kali as everyone calls her is a college student with a fun, crazy and loveable best friend, Jordan. Right before her 20th birthday everything changes for Kali. She finds out that she is a guardian from a place called Arvata. When she returns there with Jordan and her family she is not sure she wants to stay. She misses her life back on earth but that soon changes. She meets the new generation of guardians and lots of others that are not so new. Kali soon meets Lucas and quickly falls for him. As the story develops she learns so much more about Arvata and what it means to be a guardian. Things don't always go as she would like but she keeps doing what is asked of her. When an enemy arises to destroy Arvata will Kali and her friends be able to undo what has happened?

I liked Arvata, the people and just the whole story itself. There is friendship, romance and lots of action. I did think Kali and Lucas falling in love was quite fast but I understand that it is part of the bond. I loved the magic and the things that they are able to do. I can't forget to mention Strix, he was a unique and loveable character. Overall a great book. I am looking forward to reading the sequel.
