My Review:
Angel (Dasheen Bellamy) and her younger brother enroll at a new school, Ame Academy after their parents mysteriously disappear. Angel starts having these visions of seeing this little girl with worms coming out of her, yeah I was grossed out by this. She also is dreaming of a boy who she seems somehow connected to but doesn't know how or if she'll meet him. At the same time she's trying to watch over her younger brother.

They both start in day school (daywalkers) but her brother ends up in night school. Angel finds this strange and goes to see the hunky principal to get her schedule changed to night classes too. After some thought she is assigned to night school but has to start seeing the new counselor who turns out to be not so human either. She finds way more than she bargained for in night school. One of the girls she meets tells her that the weirdos come out after dark. Angel meets some interesting characters and some she would rather kick butt with.

I really liked the world building and the characters. With this being a novella we didn't get in depth with much but the author has it built up to become an awesome series. I also found it interesting and fun how much of the story is told through Angel's blogging. Night School has vampires, dhampirs, jinn (genies), slayers and day walkers. There are gorgeous guys too, which I loved. My only complaint was I didn't want it to end. I can't wait for this story to continue, I LOVED it!
