Summary from Goodreads:
Darkness has fallen over Ame’ Academy after Angel plummeted into the gaping twilight of the abyss. Ismet, Bella Donna, Elin and Rafael were now left to pick up the pieces.

But those that loved Angel refused to believe she is gone, and so the search for her and the truth begins. Plus the clock is counting down and the Beast has escaped its pit. The group of friends, with the help of unlikely allies must confront an ancient evil, and once again face the heartache of losing someone they love, to save the world from destruction once and for all.

The highly anticipated and surprising finale to the Night School Vampire Hunter Trilogy!

My Review:
Redemption is the last novella in this trilogy. It is a quick read full of action and suspense.

In the previous novella Angel jumped into the dark hole and is presumed gone forever. Her friends however refuse to believe this and are reading her diary trying to figure out a way to get her back. Her soulmate Rafael has gone crazy on everyone because he doesn't want to deal with Angel being gone.

When they do find a way to get Angel back things are not what they had expected. The demon beast is inside of Angel. She has to fight hard to keep control but at times the beast takes over. Rafael is determined to get Angel back for good. Along with her friends and brother Jordan they need to figure out how to remove the beast for good. Things go down on Halloween night when the veil between the worlds is the thinnest.

In this one we get a surprise visit for a short time from someone that was lost in the previous novella. We also get to meet some new characters that turn out to be interesting in their own ways. I enjoyed learning about the hybrid witch/vampire. As I have said previously this one is full of action and suspense. There is some romance and new friendships. I have enjoyed this trilogy and recommend it to anyone who enjoys vampire stories with a twist. I am looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Book: Journey into the Realm: The Stolen Child
Author: Markelle Grabo

Rating: 5 Stars
Level: Young Adult

Summary from Goodreads:
Now that she has discovered her true heritage, Ramsey Wilder is ready to end the war between elves and Element fairies. But when King Vortigern finds a way to put restrictions on magical traveling, Ramsey is forced to travel through each Magical Realm before crossing into the Golden Fairy Realm and requesting aid from Queen Titania. Wary but determined, Ramsey and her companions set off on a journey filled with enchanting new experiences.

My Review:
First off I have to say that Markelle has done it again. The books in this series just get better with each one. I just can't get enough of them. Each book is unique in it's own way and she just brings something new each time.

In this one Ramsey sets off on the journey of a lifetime with some of her friends. She is on a mission to end the war over the stolen child. Ramesy and her friends must travel through each magical realm starting with the mermaids and ending in the golden fairy realm. Before leaving each realm she must obtain the crown of the queen of that realm. She knows it will not be an easy task but has no idea what they will encounter when they start out. King Vortigern has put restrictions on each realm that makes it very difficult for Ramsey to get everyone to trust her when she gets to their realm.

While I did miss the elf realm and the people there, I enjoyed reading about the different realms, each is so different from the others. I liked some of the characters better than others in each realm. Along the way Ramsey continues to learn more about the Rebellion and who she can trust.

Her relationship with Nathan is tested throughout the story. She isn't sure whether she should stay with him or not. She can't get past the whole thing with Stellan getting killed because of her. But that's not all that comes between them, there is someone else. I'm not going to say who, don't want to spoil it for anyone. I was quite shocked to learn more about Ramsey's past as she was told about it.

Oh and yes can't forget that Ellie makes things difficult by showing up all the time in different realms. Towards the end we learn more about Ellie and her story and what she does shocked me. The ending was really good but left me saying wait what just happened? The Stolen Child has it all adventure, danger, suspense, romance, excitement and the list goes on and on. I can't wait to read the next book, hope Markelle writes fast. :)
