Summary from Goodreads:
Ava O'Brian is dealing with more than a teenager's typical temptations of right versus wrong. Ava is unaware she possesses a rare and unique gift, a soul with the ability to influence. Unfortunately, Satan will stop at nothing to gain control of her special ability.

Ava's faith is seriously shaken when she is the sole survivor of the car accident that kills her father and twin brother. When she relocates and faces the ultimate temptation in Samuel Perry, her mysterious classmate living on earth since 1798 to tempt and damn mankind, Ava isn't sure she can resist.

Sam must decide if he will lead Ava straight into the devil's trap or place his immortal existence on the line in order to keep her alive.

What ultimate price is Ava willing to pay for love? What if it means giving up her life or turning over her soul straight into Satan's hands for the boy of her dreams?

My Review:
True Intentions is a definite must read! It will keep you on the edge of your seat and have you longing for more. I thought I was going to get a thumb cramp from pushing the page forward button on my kindle so fast. I just couldn't put this down, it's so good!

Ava is a teenager trying to deal with the loss of her twin brother and their dad after a car accident. If that isn't enough to deal with, her mom decides to move them from their home in Chicago to California. It's at her new school that Ava meets the gorgeous bad boy Sam, that all the girls swoon over. What Ava doesn't realize is that there is so much more to Sam than just looks. He is a dark angel who sold his soul to the devil long ago. His job is to temp people to do bad things. After he saves her from a couple of times she finds out what he really is. It's not long after that she falls in love with Sam. Ava also finds out that she has the gift to influence good in people. There's only one problem, Satan wants them both dead and he'll do whatever it takes to make it happen.

This story is so well written and not at all what you think. There are a lot of twists and turns you don't see coming. There are characters who are not at all what they seem. There is so much suspense, I was on the edge of my seat throughout the story. I forgot to mention that there is a love triangle too. I love those, good vs evil, which guy to choose. This book was so intersting and has a new spin on things. Oh and the cliffhanger ending, wow is all I can say. I just loved it, Sam is just so intoxicating. I will definitely be reading the sequel.
